The elders of Israel decided to take the ark of the Covenant into the battle field. The decision was made on their superstitious logic. They tried to manipulate God's power, but.... God always wanted to deepen an intimate relationship with them through the ark of the Covenant. God wants us to develop our personal relationship with Him. Do not attempt to manipulate God! Do not treat God as a means to help achieve your wishes. Try to know Him more through your personal devotion!
